Empty life

recently i have enjoyed (if you can say so) the empty life, nothing special to do, no ambitions and no short-term goal, was completely absorbed by gaming; one friend helping to settle down after coming from Jordan (that was a good thing to do but i lost a lot of my time) and reading, although the first one seems fun and the 2nd is a good thing, the third was a real obsession.
Stephen King (again) used my time to the most, the Dark tower series really occupied my mind and i can barely wait to return home and start reading what the road hide for the last gunslinger. my last trip to Yanbu to replace some defected PCB in a UPS system was really great, not because the work finished in 2 hours, and not because weather was really cloudy, windy with this lovely cold breeze you feel on your face (a thing i like to feel in Saudi Arabia) but because i toke the book with me (the 3rd book from the series - named the "Waste Land"), in the plane i even didn't look in the windows when taking off or landing (a thing i do normally just in-case some flame or smoke start to rise from the wing so i can start crying freely), i think i red about 100 pages that day alone, i love waiting in the airports.

so these 3 things even didn't give me time to chat with my fiance that much, i feel bad about that, i didn't dive since a month, and becoming lazy a day after another.

today while i was coming back from one working site and in the middle of the traffic, the guy over the radio (mix FM) was speaking about how it was important not to surrender and to continue to try and like that, so i decided that i will by anyway will find time to do the important things again, i can' stay in this status of empty life for too long otherwise i will lose a lot.

pray for me.

Something Stupid

i had to run from my home to the middle of nowhere as the cop stopped my brother, by lovely brother toke my car while going to his night shift and ofc he didn't toke the car registration card, i rushed to take a taxi before it get worse, however this isn't the thing, i found a taxi very fast, he was Egyptian and he thought I'm Egyptian due to my "excellent" Egyptian accent, however and due to the "change" in his home country, we spoke about the coming elections and ofc we spoke about Elbaradei, i was neutral about him as i really didn't read enough to judge about him and if he fit for the presidential chair "i don't know if this phrase is OK, please comment it", the taxi driver really did a good job in raising my blood pressure, he is swearing that Elbaradei wife is Jewish, if you think so what? you don't know that this is the easiest way to make an Egyptian have a negative opinion about any one "in the Arabic mind to see the Jewish and the Israeli the same is very common, and all normal Arabs hate Israel", in less than 3 minutes he swore 3-4 times about it, luckily my brother solved his problem and i canceled my cap drive before i kill him, but he made me search it quickly on the net and found that she is Egyptian, i also red a dozen of other roamers and found that there is nothing less that a campaign to spread such things against the Nobel winner, it seems that he is really dangerous to some people and they will do anything to stop him, for me and if i were Egyptian i would consider him as man with enemy, and they are my enemies as will.

why not?

yes, why not Syria? whats so special about it that people said: Syrians won't revolt. what makes the regime their so imminent to people anger?

is there "social justice" in Syria that wasn't in the other fallen regime? NO.
does the regime fight the corruption better than the others? NO. and any one enters Syria from Jordan by land would know how awful bribes lurks in Syria.
can the poeple act within their personal freedome? NO.

the circles around the power point there is really typical to the others, the fear from the intelligence agency is the same, and as far as now, the revolt is sparking the very same way, can't think why people learn from other tragedy.

It seems that when you say that this thing won't happen, it is the first clue of happening.

I only hope the best for our brothers there, to have better life, and to get what they deserve.

The Gunslinger Adventure

2 posts a day? i know, just i have a lot in my mind that i want to write it, the things you write will stay while the things you don't will eventually be forgotten, or at least won't be easily recalled.

the meeting wasn't canceled, but it didn't rain till we finished the meeting, and it rain gently (go fairy tale ;)), Ala'a was somehow nervous when driving back to office as he was afraid we will find some roads blocked, we didn't. We reached the office in no time, low traffic due to non-working day for schools, lucky we.

i spent my time after lunch in home and before the 2nd shift reading Stephen King novel; The Dark Tower V2, the Drawing of the Three, Stephen King is a true artist, novelist and anything related to literature. others are good but nowdays he is the best in English literature, i hardly got up from my bed at 3:45pm although my 2nd shift start 3:30pm, part because it is really good i couldn't stop reading, part because i felt really lazy, mother made Kabsa on launch, it was delicious and i ate more than needed.

what Kabsa is? come to Saudi Arabia and you will know.

back to the book, i red they will make a movie drifted from the original book in 2012, actually 3 with 2 TV series to explain the gabs between the each 2 movies, i hope it will be good, it should be something with Lord of the Rings level as Stephen King wrote The Dark Tower to show in reaction to reading Lord of the Rings, amazingly how good things bring more good things.

i should finish the series before September, even before August, otherwise i won't finish it at all.

take care ppl.

Bad weather, really bad one

Omens? maybe, but 90% of Jeddah people are afraid to go outside their homes, schools and collages students were dismissed yesterday at 11:00am after the civil defense warning of the coming storm, although it wasn't that heavy rain but it affected the roads very fast, swamps all over the city streets, they also got today as non-working day, lucky them :$

i hope they cancel the meeting i have near the university, last rain hit that area very hard.

when they will bring the royal commission to redesign Jeddah, Yanbu is very beautiful and organized comparing to Jeddah and it is only 400km away, i would shift there but i simply can't leave Jeddah and the family that easy.

maybe one day we will get rid of the corruption we have in the municipality and that stinking mayor.
